Gross simplification, maybe, but is it true? I don't think the author was
saying that women want less money; I just think that the author was saying
that men have more pressure to bring home the bacon. Take it this way:
you have two couples; one in which the wife stays home and one in which the
husband stays home. What do you think of each? My experience says that
while it is considered normal for a woman to stay home, for a man to stay
home while his wife goes to work is considered an admittance of failure by
many.
