Shouldn't EVERY day be "Reclaim Our Sons Day"? In other words, having a
special day seems to me to reinforce the stereotype, as in "Take Mom out for
dinner on Mother's Day so she doesn't have to cook and wash dishes."
I know that what you mean is to have one day a year just to call attention to
the problem, but if we want to promote nonviolence and nurturing with our
sons, we're going to have to do it a lot more than one day a year!!
