There seems to a hidden assumption that the parents of boys are not
the parents of girls (and vice versa). Do those parents who have children
in both groups spend more time in one area or do they divide their time
equally? What messages would either action send to the children and the
school?

I'm appreciative of the comments about the relative numbers and perceived
social position of girl's and boy's coaches

thoughtfully
