Yes, we have such a law in California as well. It means that serious
violence against girls is no longer brushed off as "boys will be boys."
It is important to get youth advocates of all sorts to file reports,
etc. under all applicable laws; domestic violence reports to police, and
reports of how the school handled the situation to the OCR, under Title
IX.
