We are currently searching for anyone interested in becoming a School-to-=
Work =
Wizard! The federal All Means All School-to-Work Project has a school-to=
-work =
question and answer page called School-to-Work Wizards. Anyone accessing=
our =
website (www.ici.coled.umn.edu/all) can ask a question which our residen=
t =
Wizards respond to with ideas and strategies.
What is required to be a Wizard:
=A5 knowledge and experience in the area of school-to-work, graduation s=
tandards,
community resources, etc.
=A5 willingness to share your ideas, strategies being used in your commu=
nity, or =
to provide resource information that might be helpful
=A5 willingness to look at the big picture - all learners - and how they=
can =
benefit from school-to-work opportunities =
We typically receive 1-2 questions every couple of weeks. We send the qu=
estion =
out to all of our Wizards and they reply to us with common sense ideas, =
strategies, and resources they may be aware of. We then post the questio=
n and =
strategies on the website.
It's that simple!
If you are interested in participating as a Wizard, just reply to me, Pam=
=
Stenhjem, with your name, phone number, occupation, place of employment, =
email =
address and what you think you might be able to contribute.
Being a Wizard is fun and interesting - you learn new things and help oth=
ers to =
do the same. You also have a good connection to the All means All Projec=
t and =
can benefit from regular contact with project activities.
I hope you find this interesting and helpful and look forward to hearing =
from =
future Wizards!!
Best Regards,
Pam Stenhjem
