Asst/Assoc Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies: Consciousness Studies,
Psychology and/or Religious Studies.

The Hutchins School of Liberal Studies at Sonoma State University invites
applications for the tenure track position of Asst/Assoc. Prof. of
Interdisciplinary Studies: Consciousness Studies, Psychology and/or Religious
Studies, beginning Fall 1999. We are interested in candidates who have
experience and expertise in areas such as: cognition and perception; ethnic
studies; gender and/or women's studies; history of consciousness; human
development; religious studies; spiritual practices; and transpersonal
psychology. Candidates must have an interdisciplinary or multi-disciplinary
educational background, be skilled at leading/facilitating seminar discussions,
and be able to teach subject matter of general intellectual concern.

Postmark Deadline: December 18, 1998 (for preferred consideration). Final
