1,447 persons from 40 states participated in the 1998 Careers
Conference. In 1999 1500 participants are expected.

*Internet/tech and special content sessions: 6 topics each time O1:00,
3:00, 5:00 PM

TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2-3

*Keynote Speakers (General Sessions Tuesday)
*Featured Presentations: 1 hour 15 minutes long
*Concurrent Sessions: 1 hour 15 minutes long
*Roundtable Sessions: 25 minutes long, presented 3 times during l hour
15 minute period

No advance registration for sessions. Registered conference participants
first-come, first-served at time of session. Number of participants
limited to number of seats available. Registrants complete Sessions
Choice Survey on registration form to aid planning for sessions in
greatest demand.

*Business/Industry/Education tours: Given in three different periods.
Reserve bus and tour space at conference beginning 10:00 AM, Monday,
February 1. First-come, first-served.

ALL THREE DAYS

Hands-on Technology Center

Demonstrations and hands-on experience offered using a variety of
technological products and services. Appropriate for participants who
serve any audience level and possess any level of technical skill.

Hands-on Teaching Activities Center

Educators meet and learn from featured authors/designers of career
development materials for classrooms and learning environments for all
agesOfrom curricula to games.

REGISTRATION

Registration fees cover all sessions and tours, selected materials,
hands-on training sessions, selected meals, breaks, and reception.
Wisconsin residents receive complimentary membership in the Wisconsin
Career Development Association. Refunds for cancellation incur $50
service charge. No refunds after January 25, 1999 except for emergency
situations.

SPECIAL RATES

For students: Half of Early Bird rates for all graduate and
undergraduate students. These rates are in effect at all times. Student
registrations must include a verification of registered student status
from advising professor.

For groups: 20% discount for groups of 10 or more.
