One has to start ''somewhere''. Since our daughter is involved in sports we
must take every opportunity to voice our complains regarding the media's
unwillingness to treat women's/girls in a fair manner. The christian right
tries to extract political concessions that fit their agenda through a
psychological extortion and blackmail. We parents, on the other hand, do it to
let them know that we are watching and that we are aware of the unfairness.(Case
they should want to take the time and see what it is precisely we are talking
about).....
