The Wellesley College Center for Research on Women is
sponsoring the following workshops for Summer 1999:

"Sexual Harassment & Gender Violence"
June 24 & 25, 1999 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Two separate workshops that will emphasize classroom lessons
as well as the development and implementation of overall
school policies on sexual harassment and gender violence.
(For grades K through 12.)

These workshops will be conducted by Nan Stein, Senior
Researcher and Project Director, Wellesley College Center
for Research on Women; Ellen Makynen, Department Chair,
Family and Consumer Sciences, Framingham (MA) High School,
and Kerry Rochford Hague, Community Education Coordinator,
Women's Supportive Services, Claremont, New Hampshire.

"Teasing and Bullying Workshops"
June 22, 23, 24, or 25, 1999 (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

This one-day workshop will explore proactive curriculum
strategies for teaching elementary students (K - 5th grade)
about teasing and bullying.

Registration deadline for all workshops is May 28, 1999.
