About FEW
Nonprofit Membership Organization founded in 1968 as an association to
eliminate sex discrimination and sexual harassment and enhance career
opportunities for women in government.

Educating women and men on a variety of topics of professional as well as
personal benefits at the local, regional and nation levels. FEW's premiere
training event is its annual National Training Program (NTP) held in a
different city each July.

Lobbying for the rights of women and men in the Federal Service on the
issues most vital to Federal employees issues most vital to Federal
employees such as compensation and benefits, equal employment opportunity,
pay equity, juggling work and family, retirement, policies affecting
military women, downsizing/reductions-in-force, and violence against women.

Communication on legislative issues and other timely news related to Federal
employment through the bimonthly national newsletter, News & Views.

Networking with other individuals with common interest and goals. FEW
programs provide a forum for the exchange of specific information to enhance
your access to job opening, training programs, and mentoring opportunities.

Supporting and Interacting with the Federal Women's Program Managers to
ensure that mutual goals and objectives and formulated toward the elimination of
sex discrimination in the Federal service.

Joining Forces with other organizations and coalitions that share common
interests on legislative, employment, and women's issues.

You!!! Regardless of your Federal employee status, you can become a member
of FEW. Female and male Federal employees are eligible to join as regular
members of a chapter or a members-at-large. Associate memberships are
available to those outside the Federal sector who support FEW's goals and
objectives.
