This is really terrible news !!!!! my daughter and we (the parents) felt
upset. She loved Purple Moon and had great fun with all the software....but this
is one instance where I am going to PIN ALL the blame on the Mothers!!!!! They,
more than their young daughters, are the ones who can't seem to see beyond
barbie (that horrible role model of womanhood) and who, from the time their
daughters are born, buy them just about everything related to it. One of my
daughter's friends has 62 of these dolls and another has her bedroom lined up
with EVERY collector's barbie that has ever came into the market.
There's no way that girls can ever get ahead in this sexist world if the mothers
themselves are perfectly content of being who they are.
