Need book reference

Could someone on this list recommend a book about the issues adolscent boys
are facing in today's world. Something similar to what "Revising Ophelia"
has addressed for girls. I've read the warrior boys stuff and violence,
but feel there is more to the issue than what I have read.

FYI, I have lived abroad for the past 20 years, and have been back in the
US only since last August. Whereas I have been keenly concerned for issues
related to the educational needs of the girl child, I find that in the US
there are similiar needs for boys. In short, I am trying to "catch-up" on
US culture.

Thanks!

Humanity must expand its experience of thinking of another not as object -
to be used, to be manipulated, to be mastered, to be CONSUMED -
But as subject - as another like him/herself, another self
to be respected, to be appreciated, to be cherished.
