You have done a good analysis and how it relates to gender issues. In my
daughter's school there is a vey feminine boy who is made fun of all the time.
Fortunaly he has a great and supportive family but I am sure it is still very
hard for him.

My daughter and some of her friends adore him and consider him "one of them".
But recently my daughter and some of the other girls decided to play
school...but it was decided that ''their''school was an ''all girls
school''..boys not allowed. But this boy went and asked if he could be ''in it''
and my daughter said no. However she came home and told me about it and we
discussed it and the next day she told him yes. I was happy that my daughter and
her friends were given the opportunity to accept him even more. I could not
think of a better way to teach a child how to look beyond and not give in to
peer pressure.
