Susan, I frequently note the predominant model of profit that you bumped up
against in the Roper Youth Report. This model, traditionally male-designed,
highly values the output, their work, some would say "overvalues", tries to
make all segments of that work turn a profit and all segments are aimed at
a singular goal: to serve profitability.

We, who operate on equity models....often under-value our work, try to make all
segments of our work serve the goal, the end result, the mission, the cause
(oftentimes: to make a difference) and wonder why we have different outcomes for
our work in a capitalist society. I am always aware that we are operating on
two different models as a base....that way I can view their output with
equanimity.....and wisdom. Their goal is not mine, and does not serve the
sustainable growth of the planet and us as planetary life forms.
