PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS

Submit four stapled copies of a proposal. The top of the first page should
indicate the section for which you are applying (Sexuality and Reproduction,
e.g.) The first page should also include the name, address and phone number of
all participants. Proposals may be for a poster session as well as papers.
>
If an individual paper or poster proposal, it should be no longer than two
pages. If a panel proposal, it should be no longer than three pages and the
panel organizer should be clearly marked on the first page.
>
The proposal needs to include: a brief overview of the research paper; a summary
of the findings; and a discussion of their linkage to policy and/or practice.
>
If a panel proposal, all papers must be briefly summarized along the lines noted
above.
>

Indicate on the proposal the section head(s) noted under the topic for which you

>15, 1999. Potential participants will be notified by November 1, 1999
>as to their inclusion in the program. It is our intention to publish the
>Proceedings. Tentative registration cost is $120.00. We anticipate a
>reduced rate for graduate students.
