EQUITY & EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION: CALL FOR PAPERS
Equity & Excellence in Education, the journal of the School of
Education, University of Massachusetts Amherst, is planning a special
issue for Fall 1999 on gender equity in education, dedicated to the work
of the late Myra Sadker.
David Sadker will serve as guest editor. Submissions may cover gender
equity at any educational level and/or including other countries.
The special issue will also include excerpts of Myra's pioneering work
in gender equity. One of the articles submitted will be honored as the
"Myra Sadker Memorial Essay."
Submissions should be sent to Equity & Excellence in Education,
Carolyn Peelle, Editor, School of Education, Furcolo Hall, University of
Massachusetts, Amherst, MA 01003 by July 15, 1999. Visit our website
