Of course we should respond. The assumption that women's rights impair
men's rights could otherwise be the bludgeon that beats down Title IX
and related rights laws. Unless there is serious, concerted leadership
in discussing these issues, Title IX will go down without a fight--and
that would not simply be regrettable. It would be unforgiveable, an
insult to the next generation as well as to those who fought so hard for
what rights women have now. Please do voice clear, political statements
of why these approaches are so insidious and damaging, and please
cross-post them here, and widely. Thanks for taking the time and effort!
