I missed the first one too, but we are getting tapes. In
the meantime, we have learned a bit more about these
programs. They are being shown on "National Desk," a PBS
public affairs series which, according to the PBS web site,
"examines issues on the minds of young Americans....Subjects
include media and politics, popular culture, social
engineering, gender bending and government." The "gender
wars" series is underwritten by the Lynde and Harry Bradley
Foundation, the John M. Olin Foundation, the Sarah Scaife
Foundation, public television viewers, PBS and the
Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Check your local
listing to see if the PBS station in your area carries
"National Desk" and to find out when it will air these three
programs.

You can direct comments about the series to:

Your local PBS station (if it carries the program).

PBS headquarters: Public Broadcasting Service,
1320 Braddock Place, Alexandria, VA 22314
e-mail: www@pbs.org
web: www.pbs.org

Corporation for Public Broadcasting:
901 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20004
202/879-9600
web: www.cpb.org

National Desk series producer: Whidbey Island Films,
2247 15th Avenue West, Seattle, WA 98119

Direct links to the above are included on the PBS site under "Talk to Us." You
also can purchase videotapes of the series through the site (click "ShopPBS"
then look under "National Desk.")
