15th Annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders

June 10-12, 1999 - Georgetown University, Washington, DC

PLEASE CONSIDER SPONSORING A STUDENT FOR THIS EXCITING LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY!

Women student leaders will meet again this year in Washington, DC to examine
leadership issues of critical importance. The conference is designed for women
who aspire to or who are currently in leadership roles on campus and in their
community. The conference goals are:
To empower women student leaders by strengthening and improving skills
for meeting challenges they face as leaders on their campuses and in
the world community;
To increase women student leaders' understanding of the factors affecting
opportunities for women and the quality of their lives on campus and in the
world beyond their campuses;
To encourage women student leaders to see their campus experiences as
foundations for continuing leadership at community, state, federal, and
international levels.

There are over 55 individual interest sessions, pre-conference visits to
Capitol Hill, community service opportunities, and the annual Women of
Distinction awards ceremony, which gives participants the unique opportunity to
interact directly with renowned women leaders.

Registration is $345 and includes conference fee, lodging and all meals.
Vegetarian selections are available. Lodging is provided in a Georgetown
University residence hall for Thursday and Friday nights only. Additional
room nights immediately before or after are available for an extra charge.
There are a limited number of scholarships available and scholarship
donations are always welcome.
