Internet-based lessons

Are you looking for ways to integrate the Internet into lessons? The
Social Studies School Service has a Website that provides lessons for
using Internet-based resources. I looked at sample lessons for Black
History, Women's History and Science lessons to gain some familiarity with
the usefulness of this Website.

I found the Website easy to use and the lessons interesting. Each lesson
contains:
1. Opening "Critical essays/Product Reviews"
2. Internet Exercises including
a. Teacher Notes
b. Lesson essay
c. A description of "The Task" which is Internet research-based

These lessons provide the opportunity for students to learn content while
also learning research skills using the Internet. This is a valuable
resource for educators wanting to encourage their students to use the
Internet.
