School violence again...

Iam a little surprissed how not one has brought up the subject of the latest and
so far worst school massacre.

Yesterday our schools officials (once again) said that there are
''similarities'' between the Columbine school district and our own and so we
(parents) should closely monitor our children's behavior for the time
being. "Parents such as ourselves always have to look at these opportunities to
blast the schools administrators and make them realize that there is a NEED for
more action being taken to stop destructive behavior in their schools.
Specifically its obvious and frustrating that there is not enough being done to
educate our children regarding sexual harassment that very much falls into the
category of respect for oneself and others at a basic level but which becomes
much more complex at a sociological level.

There is a great deal of blame that parents must take for this latest tragedy
but school officials are simply ingnoring the real issues for potential violence
in their schools. Biased curriculums, and sexual harassment are, as far as we
are concerned, some of the pressing educational issues that schools must pay
attention to in order to make an attempt to diffuse the potential for violence
