Greetings

After reading several books on facilitative leadership in
education, I came to the conclusion that facilitative leader
ship is quite often the way women administrators lead in
schools. To gather data, I have decided to look at written
communication as I feel it would be more authentic than
interviews as many people don't always practice what they
preach.

I'm looking at written communication from administrators in
Elementary schools where there is often only one administrator.
I am curious to see if there are any differnces in the way female and male
administrators communicate with their school community when writing
newsletters, memos etc. What are the qualities of effective written
communication in elementary schools? Any input would be
greatly appreciated.
