Tomás A. Arciniega (retired)

Before his retirement from California State University in 2004, Tomas A. Arciniega actively supported alcohol and other drug prevention efforts on the CSU campus and in the surrounding community. During his tenure, Arciniega:
- Served on the Board of the NIAAA from 2000-2001
- Served on the CSU Alcohol Policies Programs Committee ( Training, Intervention, and Treatment subcommittee member)
- Awarded the AAA Drinking and Driving Prevention Award for the first annual "Oktoberfest" activities held during Alcohol Awareness Week 2001
- Reviewed and revised alcohol policy to include consequences of AOD usage on campus
- Provides weekly AA meetings on campus
