Southeast Missouri State University

As President of Southeast Missouri State University, Kenneth W. Dobbins has been an active leader in campus AOD prevention efforts, citing Proposals for Effective Prevention as articulated by the Presidents Leadership Group
President Dobbins has been supportive of initiatives designed to provide a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment for students, and was instrumental in hosting a site visit of the Missouri Partners in Prevention Council in the Prevention Statewide Coalition. The Coalition serves twelve public institutions of higher education in Missouri, and President Dobbins has been supportive of staff members, athletic department officials, and public safety officers who attend their monthly meetings, trainings, and conferences. President Dobbins has also taken eager interest in data collected from the Core Alcohol and Drug Survey, implemented on the Southeast Missouri State University State campus every year, which is used by universities and colleges to determine the extent of substance use and abuse on their campuses.
