Prerna Sood

Prerna Sood is a Technology Assistant at EdTech Leaders Online®, COPE's online professional development capacity building program for educational organizations. Her main role includes providing support to participants and future facilitators in running ETLO workshops, updating current online courses, and contributing to the design of new courses to add to the ETLO catalogue.

Prerna is currently awaiting state certification as an Instructional Technology Specialist through her certificate program at the Harvard Extension School in Technologies in Education. While she was a student in the program, she worked as an instructional technology intern at the Driscoll School (K-8) in Brookline, where she designed a Professional Development intervention to expand the use of the iBook carts in the primary classrooms.

Prerna has formal training and background in architecture, including graduate work in design technology at MIT. While she was at MIT, she actively pursued her interest in issues related to technology, youth and community development, and worked with the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network in India and Boston.
