Valerie Weagle

Valerie Weagle is a Technology Specialist for EdTech Leaders Online (ETLO), where she supports participants and future facilitators in running ETLO workshops.

Prior to joining ETLO, Valerie worked on the Center for Integrating Technology in Education (CITEd) project, also housed at EDC in partnership with the American Institutes for Research (AIR). On this project, she worked with middle school math teachers to integrate technology tools into the math classroom. Additionally, Valerie has worked as a Research Assistant with the America Connects Consortium (ACC) providing technical assistance to grantees of the U.S. Department of Education's Community Technology Centers Program.

Valerie's interests include educational technology, informal education, and youth development. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Bates College and an M.A. in Child Development from Tufts University
