CEEC
The Center for Education, Employment, and Community (CEEC) within Education Development Center, Inc. works to build the capacity of communities to create systems that help students learn to high standards, workers advance in their careers, and citizens improve their communities. CEEC staff help communities develop policy and design effective practices; and to develop successful partnerships, programs, curricula, assessments and professional development initiatives. CEEC projects provide excellent examples of cutting edge thinking and practice in education to employment reform, developing and implementing standards in education and work settings, contextual learning and assessment, standards-based learning which integrates academic and technical standards, rethinking technology for learning and working, as well as equity and valuing diversity.

Community Technology Centers’ Network
Community Technology Centers' Network (CTCNet), a network of over 350 grass-roots technology centers in storefronts, libraries, and community-based organizations that are providing people in their communities with access to computers and related technologies. Many CTCNet affiliates link with local schools to help youth and adults develop technology skills as they improve learning and life skills. CTCNets provide examples of successful, community-based technology programs and activities; and examples of the struggles encountered in developing and implementing technology centers on a shoestring.
