Maria Cristina Chirolla, JD, is currently the national director of the Asset and Money Laundering Division in the General Prosecutor's Office. She oversees the work of 35 prosecutors. Past positions include: delegate of the mayor of Bogotá in the State Office's Administrative Tribunal; director of Bilateral and Multilateral Issues in the Colombian Ministry of Justice; and director of the Fondo Nacional de Estupefacientes de Colombia. Ms. Chirolla earned her Juris Doctor from the Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia. She also holds a master's degree in international relations from the same university, specializing in policy and law. |
