Claude Fusco Karmann1

Claude Fusco Karmann began her career as a manager working in manufacturing. Since 1984, Ms. Fusco Karmann has been a member of the Italian League against Cancer of Milan, a non-profit organization, which focuses on cancer prevention and the provision of health and social services for cancer patients. Ms. Fusco Karmann heads the Volunteer and Care Departments of the Milan office as well as managing the Volunteer Training School. She is also a member of the Ethics Committee of the National Cancer Institute in Milan and a founding member of the European Association for Palliative Care. In addition, Ms. Fusco Karmann serves as secretary of the steering committee of the Onlus Palliative Care Federation and as advisor of Paradigma, a school for psychological training in oncology.
