Therese Rochon, RNP, MA, MSN
As a family nurse practitioner, Ms. Terry Rochon works in both the clinical and research spheres of palliative care. At Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, she provides palliative care consultations in long-term care settings. At Brown University, she is the nurse study coordinator at the Center for Gerontology and Health Care Research. She is a member of the Rhode Island Community Partnership to Improve End-of-Life Care and serves on the medical and legal committees of the Attorney General's Task Force to Improve End-of-Life Care. In these capacities, she has co-authored The Resource Guide for Pain Management and Choices and Conversations: End-of-Life Care Consumer Guide. Ms. Rochon is an adjunct professor at the Rhode Island College School of Nursing and a trainer for the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC). She gives numerous educational presentations in the community on pain management and end-of-life care.
