Danielle Goodwin, MS, PhD

Dr. Goodwin is a visiting Research Fellow from the United Kingdom (UK). She has been working for the Health Resources and Services Adminstration (HRSA) HIV/ AIDS Bureau on the Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) palliative care projects. In the UK Danielle was working as a researcher in the department of Palliative Care & Policy at King's College, London on projects evaluating palliative care services in that country. Danielle has extensive research experience having just completed a PhD at King's College, University of London. She also previously completed a Masters program in Medical Sociology at Royal Holloway, University of London where she explored the concepts of chronic illness and social death and dying. Danielle is a qualified nurse with clinical experience in intensive care and high dependency nursing.
