Mariela Bertolino, MD

Dr. Bertolino earned her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina in 1987. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Sanatorio Güemes y Hospital E. Fernandez in Buenos Aires, Argentina and then went on to receive further training at the Edmonton General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Alberta, Canada and the Centre de Soins Palliatifs at the Hôtel Dieu in Paris. Since 1996, Dr. Bertolino has served as the medical director of the Palliative Care Unit at the Hospital Tornú-FEMEBA Foundation where she has also coordinated the Curso de Postgrado de Actualización en Cuidados Paliativos.
