Set Adrift ©1992 Eleanor Rubin
Published here with permission

ELEANOR RUBIN is an artist and a lecturer, whose works can be seen in many permanent collections, from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, to the Centrum Masereel, Kesterlee, Belgium. For more than 20 years, her talents have been drawn on at the MFA in Boston as its coordinator of access for audiences with disabilities. Elly is a recipient of a grant from the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities, which allowed her to create a series of prints for the Museum Without Walls project. These commissioned prints circulate to prisons and hospitals and other institutional settings. Additionally, she is a founding artist/contributor to The Art Connection, which places the work of older artists in settings such as homeless shelters and elder housing. Her studio and home are in West Newton, Massachusetts. Learn more about this artist and her work at www.ellyrubin.com.
