Action Steps

CSHPs usually are not built in one fell swoop. They are instead the product of many smaller steps over the years. Taking specific action in selected areas can produce results in the eight CSHP components that respond to the needs of students in your school. Review ideas for action in the following areas:

Comprehensive School Health Education
Family and Community Involvement
Healthy School Environment
Physical Education
Counseling, Psychological, and Social Services
School Health Services
School Nutrition Services
Health Promotion for Faculty and Staff
