Continuing Education Registration

Health Is Academic: A Guide to Coordinated School Health Programs

To receive Category I continuing education contact hours required for recertification, Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) can respond to questions on the 13-chapter book Health Is Academic: A Guide to Coordinated School Health Programs. To apply for and receive these credits:

Complete the registration form below.
Complete the response forms for as many chapters as you choose.
Send the completed registration and completed response forms to:

Enclose payment of $104 when all 13 chapters are submitted at the same time, or $10 per chapter for fewers than 13 chapters. Make checks payable to EDC/CHES.

A score of 80 percent is required to earn a credit for a chapter. A certificate indicating the number of Category I hours earned together with the relevant chapter numbers will confirm successful completion. Notification will be sent when a score is below 80 percent. There will be an additional $10 fee for each resubmitted chapter.

Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), is a multiple event provider for the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
