What Does the Data Say?: Graphs and Averages

Students learn about measures of central tendency, and collect, organize, and interpret data using various kinds of graphs. Students collect data from surveys, measurements, and probability experiments. They then represent data with bar graphs, double bar graphs and broken line graphs and analyze it using measures of central tendency. Finally, students apply data collection and data analysis skills as they explore probability and sampling.
