I am an Elementary School Principal in South Euclid, Ohio - an eastern suburb of Cleveland. My building has 24 certified staff and 12 classified staff members. We have approximately 320 students in grades kindergarten through fourth. I have been a school administrator for 18 years and will be entering my 26th year in education as the 2000 / 2001 school year begins. My current interests and goals for the upcoming year center around improving the instruction of mathematics and providing the necessary tools (from manipulatives to professional development) teachers need. I am especially interested in parent involvement in the daily process and current brain research supporting a shift from traditional delivery systems to a more investigatory/ constructivist approach.
