Volunteers There are many different ways to volunteer with ScienceQuest. Volunteer opportunities include: Coaches are parents, college students, retired engineers and future teachers, but they do not have to be experts. Instead, coaches receive training and support to guide teams as they discover and model how real researchers work - one step at a time. Resources such as the ScienceQuest Web site and a list-serve help coaches share ideas and advice. Coaches also receive training on using online tools effectively, and learn how to build Web pages. Through community technology centers, coaches and have access to the Internet, digital cameras and other tools for discovery. Contact:

Because our coaches and young people work a great deal with computers and the Internet, they often need assistance navigating these resources successfully. Technical Support Trainers help coaches and SQ teams how to conduct Internet research, create effective Web sites and utilize new technologies. Contact:

ScienceQuest staff needs help designing Web pages, brochures, posters and other education materials. Or, volunteer your services as a programmer and help us create fun, new interactive features for the ScienceQuest Web site.
