BALLOON CARS ACTUALLY WENT FARTHER THAN
THE ROCKET CAR.
THE FIRST CAR WE BUILT WE BUILT, CALLED THE
EXCALIBUR 1.0 WAS A DUD. THAT ONE WAS MADE OUT OF A MILK CARTON AND
A WATER BALLON FILLED WITH AIR FOR POWER. THE WHEEL WERE MADE OUT
OF SPOOLS, AND THE AXELS WERE MADE OUT OF STRAWS. THE AXELS WERE
FIXED, BUT THE WHEELS WERE FREE. IT STUNK UP THE JOINT BECAUSE THE
WHEELS WEREN'T BIG ENOUGH, AND THE BALLOON COULDN'T HOLD ENOUGH AIR SO
IT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL. WE DECIDED THAT THE DIRECTIONS WE GOT
TO BUILD EXCALIBUR 1.0 WEREN'T VERY GOOD. THEY DIDN'T WORK, AND WE
MADE OUR OWN BALLOON CAR.

THEN WE MADE THE CAR THAT WE PLANNED OURSELVES.
THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THIS CAR AND THE EXCALIBUR 1.0 WERE THAT
IT USED ICE CREAM LIDS. BIGGER WHEELS MEAN THAT EVERY TIME THEY GO
AROUND, THEY GET FURTHER. WE USED NORMAL BALLOONS, AND THE BASE WAS
MADE OUT OF A PIECE OF CARDBOARD. THE AXLES WERE CONNECTED TO THE
WHEELS, AND THE THE AXLES ROTATED - WE PUT THEM THROUGH A STRAW.
