The TELG Task Database is a collection of tasks used for assessment of geometric understanding. The tasks are varied, from individual test items to small group activities, as are the concepts which they seek to assess. The range of geometric concepts covered by these items include: spatial perception, measurement, shape composition, transformations, and shape properties.

The tasks which comprise the TELG Task Database were collected from numerous sources. The principal investigators on the project contributed relevant tasks from their own work. Tasks were also collected from publications identified through ERIC and other literature searches. Finally, tasks related to the geometric concepts studied by the TELG project were collected from publicized portions of standardized tests.
