The Thinking About Mathematics Instruction (TMI) Study explores the nature of instructional leadership for mathematics that elementary and middle school administrators provide for instructional faculty as well as parents at their school. The study design for data collection about principals includes both survey and case study approaches.
Barbara Scott Nelson of Education Development Center is the Principal Investigator for this project. This RETA study is funded by The National Science Foundation and will be completed in September 2009.
