About the spk2wrt listserv

The spk2wrt listserv is a moderated discussion forum for students or adults who have used speech recognition technology themselves or with secondary students with disabilities. It is available through Speaking to Write: Realizing the Potential of Speech Recognition for Secondary Students with Disabilities, a project funded by the U.S. Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, which explores the use of speech recognition software by secondary students with disabilities.

The primary focus of this discussion will be the educational issues associated with using speech recognition technology to support students with disabilities in home and school settings. All topics related to the use of speech recognition technology for students with disabilities are appropriate for discussion.
