I have truly enjoyed this exchange and, actually, hate to see it end. This
dialogue has certainly benefited me in my position.
Last week one of our panelists talked about the value of having a directory
that lists gender equity programs throughout the country. I hope that we
can keep this idea alive. While there aren't a lot of dollars, we who work
in this area need to keep abreast of what's out there. Also, I hope all of
us will bring to the table (whenever we have the opportunity) the
challenges
for girls and women with multiple forms of discrimination. Also, whenever
possible, we must encourage the disaggregation of data so that we can get a
more accurate picture of the results/gains for these various groups.
