This is an interesting idea. What would the page do? Would it have
challenges that the team could solve? Could the team be off site from each
other and communicate via the internet to solve the problem?

Could you tell us more?

I think we should start by creating a web page and inviting teenage girls
to interact. In addition have the girls themselves design the web page in
the first place?

Maybe, we would try a working pair of a boy and girl, because their ideas
complement one another very nicely (at least , that is how my daughter and
son work at the computer). This can be a form of global competition but
instead boys and girls as equal participants. If such plan can be implement
it must be remembered that girls in science classes show their analytical
capability more than boys.
