I might also add that in order for us to totally match experiences, let's
have
the ganders fight for a civil rights law for years and wait for two extra
years after its passage to see implementing regulations to "allow" them to
have sanctioned athletics at all. Then, let's throw in school boards who
adopt the attitude, "Let's wait until we are sued before we do this to save
a buck." Let's require that the ganders' parents hold bake sales to buy
uniforms and equipment. Let's challenge the ganders' masculinity because
they have the gall to think that they can be real athletes. Then we might
be able to match the experiences and lives of males as far as Title IX and
athletics are concerned with those of the female athletes who have
persevered.
