G'Day All:

Further to Marty's comments on the multiple facets of classroom
interaction.

There has been has a fair of research here done on 'teacher talk' in the
classroom. You know the type of thing- independent researchers monitoring
the type and frequency of comments made to various children regarding
gender, ethnicity etc.

I have read some of the papers published on this topic and found them quite
an eye opener regarding my own verbal dealings with children.
