[EDEQUITY Male Dialogue] Cooperation- it's a human thing

Wow, Liz! What a posting. You made me stop and think, "That's it.
Partnerships. Cooperation is not a girl thing- it's a human thing." But,
then, I get in this internal debate- Females do use cooperation as a
problem-solving technique much more than males. Does taking it away from
being a girl thing then mean that we take competitiveness from males and
make that a human thing, too? Are we so afraid to embrace girl things as
such because we intuitively are afraid that boys will reject girl things as
anti-masculine? Thus, to get the guys to "buy in" we recast the girl
things
as human things. Egad. Sounds Cartesian- this or that. Boy thing or girl
thing. A change of paradigm has been proposed.

Thanks, Liz.
