Dear Nora,
As a thirty year teacher in Public and Community Education, I see a
desperate need for Emotional Intelligence Education. Excellent
resource book by Daniel Goleman, has supported my personal findings,
observations and impressions. Have you read it?

Our children desperately need Wholistic Education. Wonderful programs, which I
know are out there, which nurture children through out education. Past and Now
we have academics and discipline. The problems in schools today show how this is
clearly not enough. We need to look at the big picture. Without sex ed, anger
management, listening, respectful communication, equality, cooperation,
tolerance etc. we are a degenerating species. Kindness is lacking; competition
is killing us.

I hope this helps in some way.
