We are a group of four M.Sc Cognitive Science students from the University
of Birmingham, England. We are conducting research on the use of computers
in education for a Human-Computer Interaction presentation. If there are
any teachers who would be willing to answer our questionnaire and, if
possible, return it by Friday 23rd October we would be extremely grateful.

Please state the title of your educational institute.
-

1.
How much time, on average, do you allow students to access the internet
for educational purposes per week?
-

2.
Do you have any sort of control on what the students access? if so what.
-

3.
Do you use any other sort of educational computing resources? if so what.
-

4.
How have these affected your teaching methods and the content of your
lessons?
-

5.
Do your students use computers on their own, in groups, or both?
-

6.
Do you think computers have changed students attitudes
and structure of their knowledge? if so, how have the students
demonstrated this?
-

7.
Do you think computing technology has made the assessment of students
work easier or more difficult? if so why.
-

8.
Do you view interaction with computers as a necessary part of modern
education?
-

9.
How do you foresee computing technology affecting teaching methods in the
future?
-

10.
Do you foresee a situation where the human teacher will be replaced by a
computer? if so why.
-

Many thanks for your help.
