There are many sources for details of the feminist movement which gained
momentum in the 1970's: The International Journal of Women's Studies, the
newsletters and magazines of the individual societies such as Women in
Mathematics, Women in Psychology, the Association for Women in Science, the
Federation of Professional Women, the Society of Business Women, etc. The
histories of these organizations and many more should be collected into one
publication. It would make a good project for a graduate student's
dissertation. And it could include similar women's organizations in other
countries. If I were 25 years younger, I'd do it.
